One pricing formula.
$300 plus $15 per letter. The $300 is what it costs us to give your stone real attention — the drive, the read of the existing carving, the paperwork. Then $15 for each letter we carve.

Six weeks, April–October.
From order to finished carving in the cemetery. Off-season orders are scheduled in writing for the first spring window.

We come to the stone.
Almost every job is on-site. The stone stays where it is, the family doesn't lift a finger, and the cemetery's paperwork is handled by us.

About the Craft
The new letters should look like they've always been there.
Cemetery lettering is a craft. The font on the stone, the depth of the original cut, the finish of the carved area — all of it matters, and all of it has to be matched to make the new work belong. That's the test, and it's the standard our family has held to for more than three decades.
When you send us a photo, we measure. We match. We mock up the layout. We send you a proof. We file the cemetery's permit. We carve on-site. Then we send you a photo of the finished work.

The Work

Every cemetery has a different paperwork process. Every stone has a different font, depth, and finish. Our job is to make the new letters look like they've always been there.
From Quote to Install
Three steps. Six weeks. One formula.

You send us a photo of the stone.
Use the quote form to prepare an email. Attach one or two photos in your email app, tell us what to add, and include the cemetery name and town.

We send a written quote and a layout proof.
Within 24 hours. The letter count, the total ($300 + $15 per letter), and a layout proof. We file the cemetery's permit on your behalf.

We carve on-site and send you the photo.
The stone never moves. We carve, paint if you wanted paint, photograph the finished work, and email you the photo the same day.

We work in every cemetery we're licensed to enter, across five states. We know the paperwork at the Archdiocese of Boston cemeteries (St. Joseph, Holyhood, Mt. Benedict), at the historic Boston yards (Mt. Auburn, Forest Hills), and at the small town and parish cemeteries from the Cape to the North Country.
If a permit is required, we file it. If your loved one is resting in a town we haven't worked yet, we'll let you know honestly. We won't take a job we can't deliver on.
